Colorado Springs vice detectives arrested a woman who has allegedly been forming a child prostitution network with all-female pimps in Colorado and five other states when she met an undercover officer posing as a 16-year-old girl late Thursday night.
When police arrested Kyasha Tisdale at 10:45 p.m., she allegedly was with a 17-year-old runaway girl from Utah whom she befriended on a bus trip from Phoenix to Colorado Springs, according to the police report.
Tisdale was arrested for investigation of a long list of charges including human trafficking of a child, inducement of child prostitution, pimping of a child, procurement of a child, pandering of a child, contributing to the delinquency of a child, pimping, and pandering.
Tisdale’s arrest concluded a long-term undercover investigation by the Colorado Springs Police Department’s Vice and Human Trafficking Unit, the report says.
Tisdale has allegedly established her all-woman pimp network in Colorado, California, Arizona, Texas, Ohio and Louisiana.
The detectives posing as perspective child and adult prostitutes arrested Tisdale at the bus station at 120 S. Weber St., the police report says.
The detectives returned the 17-year-old runaway to her parents in Utah.
