AUSTIN, Texas - The Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) announced the capture of Anderson Ronaldo Reyes Giron, a fugitive from the state's 10 Most Wanted Criminal Illegal Immigrants List.

Reyes Giron, 25, was apprehended on Tuesday, April 2, outside a game room in north central Austin.

Reyes Giron, a criminal illegal immigrant from Honduras, was taken into custody by DPS Special Agents, Texas Highway Patrol Troopers, and officers from the Austin Police Department's North Metro Tactical Unit. He had been wanted in Travis County since February 2025 for deadly conduct involving the discharge of a firearm. Additionally, he was sought in Williamson County since March 2025 for theft of property.

In January 2017, Reyes Giron was arrested by U.S. Customs and Border Protection in Texas for alien removal. He was later arrested in August 2024 by the Austin Police Department for deadly conduct and was released on bond.

The DPS stated that a Crime Stoppers reward will not be paid for his arrest.
