As we storm into April, the Seacoast gears up for a weekend filled with entertainment. Head to 3S Artspace for a Caribbean party for Haiti, see country music artist Chris Janson at The Music Hall in Portsmouth, support the Stratham Historical Society while getting your stored-away antiques appraised at the Stratham Antiques Roadshow, or make a a springtime dish garden at the Flower Kiosk Studio in Portsmouth.

Caribbean party for Haiti at 3S Artspace

Alico Dessalines, leader of the band Kandjanwou Rara, will bring Rara, the uniquely Haitian festival music, to 3S ArtSpace in Portsmouth on Friday, April 4, 2025 in a fundraiser for a school in Milot, Haiti.

What: For the first time ever, Rara, the festival music of Haiti, is coming to Portsmouth. The 15-piece Kandjanwou Rara will bring the crowd alive to benefit Life and Hope Haiti and its school in northern Haiti.

Comedy night to benefit Nurture & Nature Children’s Center

Hearth Guided Tours at Strawbery Banke

Strawbery Banke Museum will have Homes and Hearth guided tours in April 2025.

What: This 90-minute guided tour takes guests inside four historic homes, where generations of Portsmouth residents gathered and grew together over centuries.

Stratham Historical Society will hold their Annual Spring Appraisal Day, Sunday, April 6, 2025.

What: Stratham Historical Society will hold its annual Spring Appraisal Day. Dan Olmstead of Daniel Olmstead Antiques, Newfields, and Greg Pruitt and Lionel Loveless of Collector’s Eye in Stratham and Route 1 Antiques in Hampton Falls will be returning to assist in providing verbal appraisals and valuable information on items brought in by the public.
