Croatia jumps two places on latest FIFA world rankings

Croatia’s national football team have climbed two places in thee latest FIFA rankings published today.

Croatia gained another 7.07 points from the March internationals to move up to 11th in the world.

Croatia, who ended 2024 ranked 13th, beat France 2-0 in the first leg of their UEFA Nations League quarterfinal in Split. They lost the return leg in Paris on penalties.

2022 World Cup winners Argentina maintained their position at the top of the rankings.

EURO 2024 winners Spain are ranked second in the world, followed by France, England and Brazil.

Croatia will next play on June 6 when they take on Gibraltar in the first 2026 World Cup qualifying group match.
