ArmInfo. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan received Deputy Prime Minister of Montenegro for Foreign and European Affairs Filip Ivanovic.
As reported by the Prime Minister's office, Pashinyan expressed a conviction that this visit will give new impetus to the further development of bilateral relations. He stressed that the Armenian government is interested in intensifying cooperation with Montenegro in political, economic and other spheres. Filip Ivanovic conveyed warm greetings from the Prime Minister of Montenegro to Nikol Pashinyan and stressed the importance of consistently developing traditional relations between Armenia and Montenegro. The Deputy Prime Minister of Montenegro added that the purpose of the visit to Armenia is to discuss the opportunities and further steps to develop bilateral cooperation.
In this context, the parties discussed the expansion of trade and economic ties, and cooperation in education and tourism. Both sides emphasized the importance of increasing air flights, which will contribute to the increasing of human contacts and the deepening of business ties. The parties also exchanged views on promoting cooperation between the capitals of the two countries. Nikol Pashinyan and Filip Ivanovic discussed as well the matters of regional importance. Particularly, they touched upon the draft agreement . Prime Minister Pashinyan emphasized the commitment of the Armenian government to the peace agenda. Filip Ivanovic expressed Montenegro's support for the efforts to ensure peace and stability in the region.
