Santo Domingo.- The Dominican Republic is set to host “Expo Sostenible 2025” on April 2-3 at Hotel El Embajador, marking the country’s first major event dedicated to sustainability. Organized by CODESSD, El Nuevo Diario, and ProExpo, the fair aims to promote environmental protection, responsible waste management, and sustainable economic growth.

The event will feature panels and talks with leading environmental experts, public and private sector representatives, multilateral banks, and international organizations. It will serve as a platform for fostering collaboration, raising awareness, and sharing knowledge on sustainability initiatives.

Expo Sostenible 2025 builds on ongoing efforts to promote a culture of sustainability in the Dominican Republic, including forums, the “Sustainable Voices” podcast, and media campaigns. The initiative seeks to position the country as a regional leader in sustainable development.
