Married cops who 'had sex in front of their kids' arrested for naked pic scandal

Two married police officers who "had sex in front of their kids " were arrested following a naked photo scandal.

The New Jersey cops landed in hot water after they allegedly shared naked images of themselves with their children in the background, authorities said. Officer Brian DiBiasi was sacked from the Hamilton Police Department on January 31, following allegations that he used a messaging app to distribute “image and video files of suspected child sexual exploitation and abuse material,” NJ Attorney General Matt Platkin said in a statement.

Both DiBiasi, 39, and his wife, Mercer County Sheriff’s Office cop Elizabeth DiBiasi, 42, were arrested on January 29.

An investigation into the pair began last week following a report from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children about the purported images.

Authorities claim DiBiasi shared 36 media files containing explicit photos and videos of his wife with children in close proximity. They also accessed chat logs in which DiBiasi is claimed to have “mentioned children being present while he and his wife had sex,” Platkin said.

He faces charges including allowing a child to partake in a sexual act for photography or filming purposes, engaging in sexual conduct harmful to a child's morals, possessing less than 1,000 items of child sexual abuse material, distributing child sexual abuse imagery, and possession of such materials with intent to distribute.

Elizabeth DiBiasi has been charged with engaging in sexual conduct that would corrupt the morals of a child.

“Sexual offenses against children are among the most serious crimes we charge,” Platkin said. “It’s especially disturbing when, as in this case, the accused are members of law enforcement.

“Protecting children from this kind of lasting harm is one of our most important responsibilities."

Hamilton’s Mayor Jeff Martin released a statement about Brian DiBiasi’s dismissal. “These actions are not only abhorrent but have also shaken our community’s sense of security and trust in those who are sworn to protect us,” Martin wrote.

“While those feelings are understandable, let me be clear: the despicable actions of these individuals do not define our community or the dedication and integrity of the men and women who serve and protect us every day.”

The employment status of Elizabeth DiBiasi is uncertain.
