Animal Humane New Mexico is holding another Bone Appetit adoption event this weekend. They are setting up in downtown Albuquerque to give the community a chance to come find their forever friend.

The adoption event is on May 11, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Zendo Coffee and Sidetrack Brewing. Even if you are not looking to adopt, a portion of the proceeds from Zendo Coffee and Sidetrack Brewing will be donated to Animal Humane New Mexico.

Animal Humane’s pet of the week is Nora. The 3-year-old is a mixed breed of possibly golden retriever or Australian shepherd. Nora did have a rear left leg amputation, but it has healed very well. She can get around just fine on three legs and is very socialized.

Animal Humane has two locations; main location on Virginia Street and the westside center on Coors Boulevard. Animal Humane is open seven days a week from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. To view adoptable dogs, click here. To view adoptable cats, click here.
