Jashtar Kerbeni-2018 international youth forum in Osh

Osh, Oct. 5, 2018. /Kabar/. The Jashtar Kerbeni-2018 international youth forum began in Osh, on the occasion of the City Day.

The opening ceremony was attended by Osh Mayor Taalaibek Sarybashov, Chairman of the city kenesh Zhaparbek Ormonov, Advisor to the OSCE program office in Bishkek Kahraman Sanginov, representatives of the OSCE program office, deputy director of the State Agency for Youth, Physical Culture and Sports Mirlan Parhanov, Chairman of the State Migration Service Bolotbek Ibraimzhanov, representatives of youth from all regions, as well as young people from Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Russia, Croatia.

During the plenary session on the topic “The Role and Importance of Migration in Youth Policy”, presentations were made by representatives of state bodies and structures, including the topic of state policy in the field of safe migration and prevention of human trafficking, as well as successful international practices in this field.

The forum participants - representatives from regions and cities of Kyrgyzstan showed presentations on the role and importance of migration in youth policy, on the implementation of the State policy on prevention of trafficking in persons.

Also, presentations on the role and impact of migrant workers on the country's sustainable development, the problems of migrant workers in Russia and Kazakhstan were made by the forum participants from Kazakhstan and Russia, as well as representatives of international and non-governmental organizations presented projects, programs and visions of youth development.

Today the 3018th anniversary of the city of Osh is celebrated. As part of the celebrations, the International youth forum, exhibitions and fairs of products of artisans, industrial producers and agricultural producers of the city of Osh and Osh oblast are held.

In addition, national sports games are held, a city volleyball tournament will take place, celebrations for the Teacher's Day will open, a number of enterprises and institutions will open, and the traditional Sulayman-Too Festival - a symbol of peace and harmony will be held. The celebrations will end with a gala concert at the central stadium named after Suyumbaev.
